When is comes to yoga and kids, it’s all about sparking their interests in a kid-friendly way. For example, when teaching poses, I like to introduce the surfer pose instead of warrior two. When the kiddos are mature enough to transfer into more proper yoga, they will already have the foundation to do that. I like to make classes fun by using wording that they understand, like “red light, green light” for stop and go.
If you’re interested in sending your child to The Yoga Booth, please register for the November 7 kids yoga class. The theme is gratitude as we prepare for Thanksgiving and the holiday season. An activity sheet with challenges for things to do for others is included. Click here for a class schedule: https://theyogaboothzanesville.com/schedule/.
